Use the site properly.
This website is operated by ATHLETES UNRIVALED PTY LTD, trading as The MIDS Cup, from Melbourne, Victoria. It provides information about The MIDS Cup, partnership opportunities, food stalls and team enquiries. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully, provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and not interfere with its security or operation.
Website copy is general information about The MIDS Cup. It is not a guarantee that a tournament week, venue, fixture, club place, prize or partner service will be available. Dates, venue details, fixtures and commercial partners may change before they are confirmed.
02 / ELIGIBILITY
Adult registered players only.
The MIDS Cup is for registered players aged 18 or over. A club or team is responsible for selecting eligible players, maintaining accurate registration information and following the applicable Football Victoria and competition requirements.
The organiser may ask a club to confirm player age, registration, insurance, identity or other eligibility information. A player or club may be refused entry or removed from a competition week if the information supplied is incomplete, inaccurate or does not meet the event rules.
03 / TOURNAMENT AND PAYMENTS
Five games. One week.
The format is eight clubs in two groups of four, followed by crossover semi-finals, finals and placing matches. Each club is scheduled to play five matches in five days, subject to confirmed competition information, venue availability, safety requirements and Football Victoria fixtures.
Club entry is intended to be $0 and the event is supported by partners. Prize money is subject to the published prize schedule, the competition information for the relevant week and any lawful withholding or payment requirements. Payment is made to the nominated club account, not directly to individual players, unless the organiser confirms another arrangement in writing.
There is no season-long commitment. A club or team may express interest in one week, selected weeks or all available weeks. A club must follow the confirmed entry, withdrawal and deadline process for each week.
04 / SAFETY, MEDIA AND PARTNERS
Play hard. Look after people.
The organiser provides venue arrangements, match officials, commercial insurance and on-site medical support as described on the website. Event insurance does not replace a club's responsibility to maintain any player, public liability or other insurance required by law, Football Victoria or the club's own policies.
Players and clubs must follow venue rules, referee directions, medical advice and the final code of conduct. Serious misconduct, unsafe behaviour, discrimination, harassment, violence, fraud or damage to property may lead to removal from the event and further action under the event rules.
Matches may be filmed, livestreamed and edited into highlights. The organiser will use a separate media consent and collection notice process. No player should assume that participation automatically gives permission for every use of their image, name or performance data.
Partner websites, food vendors and recovery services are independent businesses. Their services are subject to their own terms, availability and safety instructions.
05 / CHANGES, WEATHER AND CANCELLATION
Plans can change.
The organiser may change a fixture, venue, kick-off time, partner activation or tournament week when reasonably necessary for safety, venue operations, Football Victoria priorities, weather, force majeure, staffing or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
If a week is postponed, cancelled or materially changed, the organiser will communicate the available options to affected clubs. Any refund, rescheduling, prize or cost treatment will follow the published event rules and the specific notice for that week.
The organiser will not promise that the website or livestream will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
